Franklin field study · August 14, 2026

We asked AI where to get Botox in Franklin. Here’s what happened.

Three med spas. Four buyer questions. The same market, sources, and scoring model. The interesting part was not who “won.” It was how differently the systems assembled the answer.

The finding

All three websites earned the same readiness score: 74. Their discovery results did not. OVME had the strongest composite visibility, Glow held the best observed Google/Maps position, and Grace appeared in AI and Yelp evidence while missing from the three matched Google/Maps checks.

01 · The question

A normal customer question, with a lot happening underneath.

Someone asks where to get Botox. The answer engine has to connect treatments, location, providers, reviews, business profiles, and outside sources—then decide which names feel safe enough to mention.

02 · The scorecard

Same websites score. Different discovery picture.

The visibility score combines live Google/Maps presence, AI-answer evidence, website readiness, and supporting source signals. The position column is kept separate because observed and modeled positions are not the same thing.

BusinessVisibilityEvidence classesGoogle/Maps positionWebsite readiness
OVME Cool Springs62/1004 of 46 average when present74/100
Glow Medical Spa57/1003 of 42 average when present74/100
Grace Aesthetics51/1003 of 4Not observed in 3 checks74/100

“Evidence classes” are Google/Maps, Gemini, the ChatGPT-style OpenAI check, and Meta readiness/model evidence meeting the score threshold. They are not four consumer prompts answered in four consumer apps. Grace’s audit displayed a modeled fallback position of 7 of 14; it is excluded from the observed-position column above.

03 · What happened

There was no single winner everywhere.

That is the real story. Local discovery is fragmented. A business can look strong in one source and nearly invisible in another at the same moment.

01

OVME Cool Springs

62
What appeared
Google/Maps, Gemini, OpenAI, and Meta evidence all met the audit threshold.
Observed position
Average position 6 when present across three Google/Maps checks.
Who appeared nearby
Elegant Aesthetics, Glow, NakedMD, Smart Skin, and Pinup Skin.
Business implication
Broad coverage is useful, but stronger local placement could turn more of that coverage into first consideration.
02

Glow Medical Spa

57
What appeared
Glow appeared in two of three Google/Maps checks and was mentioned and recommended in the Gemini and OpenAI checks.
Observed position
Average position 2 when present—the strongest observed local position in the study.
Who appeared nearby
Elegant Aesthetics, OVME, NakedMD, Smart Skin, and Southern Aesthetics.
Business implication
Strong local placement can matter more commercially than owning the highest composite score.
03

Grace Aesthetics

51
What appeared
Grace was mentioned by both AI checks and ranked second in the Yelp result, but did not appear in the three Google/Maps checks.
Observed position
No Google/Maps position observed. The audit’s 7 of 14 display position was a modeled fallback.
Who appeared nearby
Elegant Aesthetics, Glow, OVME, NakedMD, and Smart Skin.
Business implication
AI awareness exists. The clearest opportunity is connecting that evidence to stronger local-search retrieval.
04 · The evidence

One market, several versions of reality.

Elegant Aesthetics appeared repeatedly at the front of the reviewed local comparison sets. Beyond that, the source mix changed. This is why a single screenshot—or a single score—is weak proof.

Independent LLM mentionsErrorErrorErrorExcluded from conclusions

DataForSEO’s independent LLM-mentions endpoint returned HTTP 404 for all three audits. A failed provider is not counted as a non-mention. Bright Data was not separately used; the audit payload’s legacy `brightData` field mirrored the active DataForSEO result.

05 · Why it happened

The website is only one part of the answer.

All three sites reached 74 for website readiness. If the site score alone controlled discovery, the results would look much more alike.

Location proof

Each system still has to connect the exact Franklin location to the treatment being requested. Chains need especially clear location-level evidence.

Independent support

Reviews, profiles, directories, citations, and third-party pages can reinforce—or complicate—what the website says.

Treatment relevance

Botox, fillers, provider credentials, and appointment evidence answer a more useful question than a generic “medical aesthetics” description.

06 · What it could mean

Visibility is not revenue. It creates chances to earn revenue.

Here is a transparent scenario—not a forecast and not private data from any business in the study.

1,000high-intent discovery opportunities×+4%incremental share captured×15%booking rate×$400average first service
Illustrative result$2,400additional first-service revenue per month
Monthly discovery opportunitiesAdditional qualified visitsAdditional bookingsFirst-service revenueAnnualized
500203$1,200/month$14,400
1,000406$2,400/month$28,800
2,50010015$6,000/month$72,000
Assumptions

The scenario assumes capture rises from 8% to 12%—a 50% relative visibility lift—15% of the incremental qualified visitors book, and the average first service is $400. If an acquired customer completes three $400 visits, the base scenario represents $7,200 in eventual customer value from that month’s cohort. Better rank does not guarantee this lift; client reporting must replace every assumption with actual traffic, booking, completion, and repeat-visit data.

07 · What to improve

The practical work is not mysterious.

A local business does not need to become the biggest brand in town. It needs to become one of the clearest, best-supported answers to a valuable customer question.

01

Lock the location.

Keep the name, address, hours, services, and booking path consistent across the location page and public profiles.

02

Answer treatment questions.

Build genuinely useful Botox and filler information around providers, candidacy, process, safety, and expected next steps.

03

Strengthen outside proof.

Improve the independent trail through accurate profiles, relevant reviews, credentials, local mentions, and trusted directories.

04

Retest without moving the goalposts.

Use the same questions, market, entities, providers, and score model after a documented change.

08 · How we tested it

Enough detail to challenge the result.

09 · What this cannot prove

A field study is a snapshot, not a permanent leaderboard.

AI answers and local results can change with location, personalization, model updates, reviews, business changes, and provider availability.

No client relationship implied

This is independent public-data research. None of the named businesses paid to participate, and inclusion does not imply a Frontier Rank client relationship.

No revenue guarantee

The outcome model is illustrative. It becomes a forecast only after replacing every assumption with verified business data.

No universal rank

Observed positions apply to the matched queries and returned comparison set—not every search, user, or med spa in Tennessee.
